I just watched a one-minute video stream of a toddler puffing a cigarette. He's a TWO-year old indonesian baby addicted to tha shiz since his father taught him at his tender age of 18 months. It's no entertainment not issit hilarious fer me. He needs 2 packets to get him through the day. Geez. 'fraid the kid wont even see his 10th birthday if nothing is being done. Revenge of the Villain

So I manage to watch the season finale this morning before hitting the road to werk. Fer some of you who have not manage to catch it, it's best if ya'll navigate away from this page, now.

So I, together with the gazzilion viewers out there, hate the outcome of the season. Not really a surprise there but it was an ultimate blow up especially when it comes to the survivor winner.

First off am actually overwhelmed to see Russell leading the Villain tribe (again) and in the final three. It was clear from the beginning Russell's confidence in securing his spot on the top three. He evidently bust his arse working wif his alliance to make it to the final three. He might have cheated, lied, manipulate yadaa yadaa but that's just his krazy strategy that proved to be working. Yes I agree he's probably being too cruel and he could've learnt from the previous season that if he just try to be 'likable' to those who he voted out whom eventually would be his juries, he might have a small chance of winning. Russell's mean ways may be useful fer him to secure his survival, but not winning. Yet he aint in tha Villain tribe fer nothin ya know..

But to me Russell made a HUGE mistake the moment he decided to keep Sandra. Momma needs to be sent home the moment she voted his name out, twice. Now how can the calculative Russell not see that? Yes sir that's one mistake Russell keeps on making - keeping the lazy cow who has multiple tactical pity votes to use on the jury night. I'd rather keep Courtney the coward on my team. Sandra tends to sway votes using her pity excuse is just pathetic. Can't even believe Russell din't even thought of that. If I were him I'd take Parvati and Courtney or another ideal candidate Jerri perhaps to tha final three. At least if Parvati or Jerri won, I won't feel this bad or this pissed as they are strong players of the tribe. And the game, to me, would then be justified.

It made me sick to see Russell was this close to winning (again) and more sick no juries voted fer him. And I don't even know what to make out of Sandra winning the 'game' but hear me out Mark Burnett, ya should change the condition of voting. Perhaps half juries votes and half viewers votes should make perfect sense to me or else, no ultimate Villain will ever win his game.

Russell, although I know how badly you want the Sole Survivor title and you proved you can play the same game twice and ya hafto know I love you and I think you're an ultimate Survivor mastermind, but dude, you just got punked. Tsk.

One, Two, Freddy's comning for you

SJ and I manage to catch a movie yesterday despite the heavy downpour from noon. I didn't even get to do my laundry either. I hafto admit I find the weather sorta comforting and perfect to watch a horror flick!

Moving on. I wasn't that anticipated when I heard that the Wes Kraven-inspired movie was out because I only watched few episodes of 'Freddy Nightmares' back in the 90s. The series were aired every Friday (I think) at 11 30pm. Back then my TV curfew was 10pm fer weeknights so quality peeking was thus often in persuit hehe

The movie was okay. I said so because the actual cast fer Freddy Kruger was replaced by a new comer. He looked anything but scary. Just looks like a guy wif prosthetic burnt facial masks. Too disfigured fer my kinda Kruger. Wasn't consistent as opposed to his series. But the iconic attire, i mean THE RED-GREEN-STRIPED SWEATER and the clawed gloves was all there is to keep my heart pumped. Yet this movie proved not all remakes are often better prosecuted. It went almost to a full blown teenage movie. Sad.

I got Hitched
Yes, you heard me right. The wedding was simple tapi MERIAH. Thank you to those who came and especially to my ITB friends, colleagues and families that worked hard on every stage of the event to ensure everything went smoothly (though I've conveyed these appreciation message earlier on and truly sorry to those who only manage to read it today). Thankiess, esp to my fabulous sistasss and galsss too :) After the long bachelorette life, 2009, i finally tied the knot..who knew :) Tinn, ur ass is up next! ha!

Minus Paris. Honeymoon was overwhelmingly incredible. Almost cancelled the US trip due to H1N1 outbreak! Saved by the jab. p.s. SJ, am yours now :)

Lotsa grays and melted greens and blues

As if my life hadn't gone through enuf. You see, I haf these weird allergic reaction that started off since yesterday affecting my face and partial body. And twenty minutes ago my fingers are severely burnt as i tried to pull a stunt soaking toilet papers into the dettol detergent with my bare hand and IT WAS PAINFUL! It was no accident as i was too lazy (ok, careless) to use the rubber gloves on. Only after the 5th or 7th dip into the muddy detergents i realised that my fingers were numb, red, chapped and burnt. So i thought of getting help -fast! Why I turned to the internet of course hehe I read that the best cure was to apply aloevera, milk or sugar, after a thorough cleansing with water that is. So i opted the latter, cuz if you ask me, there's a pot of aloevera tree sitting outside my house and i haf no idea on how to abstract it all out AND most of my homies are lactose-intollerant, they rarely consume milk. So after about 10 minutes soaking it in the sugar-coated potion, i discovered that the pain had stopped. Whoa, i never actually believed anything i read from the web but this time, the remedy really works! Well, i'm blogging ain't i? =)

Ten's prolly asleep so i might as well just surprise him tomorrow using a glittering hand gloves to cover the ugly lines out. Wait, i could be Jacko impersonator *think hard* what harm cud a ninja scarves, glove and aviator shades do aye?

Blame it on the rain

Now, there had been a heavy downpour last Tuesday night, that had badly affected my entire neighbourhood, and Brunei nationwide. I think it has to be the worst flood since my 10-years stay at the current crib. Even worse was the death of two bruneians that made newspaper headlines the next day. A very sad tragedy indeed. Syuk even had his car towed the next day after his car failed to start while driving in the harsh flood and current near the Kilanas area. He was just making his way from sending me home and I felt guilty to my tummy. He had to abandon his vehicle cuz water started to pour inside the car. Truly truly sorry. However i did manage to stay awake til 2am watching Obama's inauguration day over the CNN wif my family whilst pampering the paranoia syndrome in our head, fearing the water might just flood our home (it sure flooded the store tho). We're gona expect more rain and thundershowers during this month of January and it might stretch to March. El Nino, the meteorology department/centre calls it. To me, it's just a painful rendition 'when mother nature strikes back'. So, be safe people. Extra extra safe.

I didn't post. So, TWO WORDS. -bu-zeyhh!

Yes! Two more days to go for another break. I'm soooo in the holiday mood now and thank God I've got work to distract me. What can I say, it's another December fer me. Alhamdulillah is all I could say for now. Just a late update, Kajah's off to kl wif her friend Ana. So the family's temporarily shrinking its size. My lil sister, Baby is off to Haj joining the rest of my granma, aunties and uncles there. Sides, i've been preoccupied working on the welcoming banner (which i've just finished doing this morning) and busy attending nightly solat hajat at my aunts and my place that I hardly have time to compose any reports or updates for ya'll.

News flash: ohh my old friend Mumtaz's getting married this sunday. The mist from the breeze of the swimming pool felt like it was just yesterday we got together by the pool boasting our crazy swimming moves *firaun*, sharing a can of soda among the six of us, and arrogantly used the safety buoy til it pissed the guard off *lol* Good times ladies, good times! But how can I forget, there were so many hearts broken as well, education and family became secondary priorities. Too much parties, crazy nites, selfish lifestyle. But things have changed now yeah..apart from living a new phase as adults, everybody's busy wif their careers, families and personal commitments we hardly even spoke over the phone except fer casual updates every now and then. But I guess one thing will never change, the friendship that we share amongst us, I'll always treasure it eternally. Nasty life. New beginning. Love you gurls, and Jewel! :)

Moving on, in conjunction with Mum's wedding, I was given the mandat to deliver and distribute the invitation cards around *cehh* So, the whole gang is meeting up tomorrow! By that I mean the group, minus Sab, Saadah and Mum herself. I won't know what to expect from the meet up tomorrow since I haven't manage to sit down fer coffee wif them fer quite sometime now, except wif Tinnie of course; but one thing for sure, I can't wait to see them all really, esp MASH!! I even contacted Ivy and Tolleh about the reunion. These two individuals are not so easy to track! So fer those of you who came across this site (you know who you are) - Wed nite 10 Dec 08, The Arch, 8PM, Topless *haha* I kid ;P

Hey guys, this collection below took me over two sweet hours to publish. A lil update, I was on medical leave yesterday fer havin flu and sore throat that I can't even get up from bed. I never like the feeling of dizzyness, chills, ulcers and moodswings that appeared during the time of my unscoring health. Glad I'm a very deciplined patient. I eat my medicines right on schedule. Ohh thanx to my dearest Sis, Ten, Wady and my whole clan back at the office that wishes me well now n then. Yet my Sis's an angel (metamorphically speaking) hehe

Other than that, I'll be away again from 13th to 17th december fer an intensive retail theraphy. It sounds therapeutic yeah, but I got loadsa errands to settle and it ain't walk in the park so far. So wish me luck there. Am dragging Ten along btw :)

Last but not least, I'm missing a shoe. No, not a pair, but a leftie. I don't enjoy thinking negatives idea behind the 'mysterious extraterrestrial' disappearance but I don't like to be provoked either. I know it's just a shoe guys, but believe me it cud be more to that where i come from. Maybe the aliens took it. Quick update - I am speechless right now. Basically Lewis just need to finish 5th place or above and Massa has to win as well in the Brazilian Grand Prix.

With two laps to go (with Lewis in 5th & Mass in 1st), it suddenly rained heavily and everyone pitted except for Glock, the worst thing was Lewis was surpassed by Vettel - so he ended up in 6th and Massa suddenly is champion right?

Amazingly, the last two corners of the FINAL lap, Glock who was in 4th slowed down because he didn't change his tyres and it was raining!

Finally, we are title challengers!

February 2004.... the last time Chelsea was beaten in the league at home. That was way before i met Shenangianz, way back during my uni years, way back when i was driving a silver nissan sunny and way back when the Mall was quite new. Boy that was a long time ago and last night Liverpool broke that record. And finally we are title challengers again.

I am a pessimistic person when it comes to Liverpool in the league (was having a prediction with Shenaniganz last night and told her that a draw was good enough, that's how pessimistic i am... on the other hand Shenaniganz predicted a win for Liverpool hehe). Not because i don't believe in the team, it's because of 18 years of lost hope and disappointment. That's how long, we, Liverpool fans have suffered... 18 years of longing for that elusive league title to come back to Anfield again. However, i won't jinx it by saying we'll win it this year... i'm just saying after 18 years, we finally have the belief that it CAN happen. Top of the league in October does not translate top of the league in May. As a club, we just have to take it "one game at a time".

Out with the old, in with the new

After hosting MLB games since 1923, yesterday marked the last ever home game played at the Yankees Stadium as the New York Yankees are out of the playoff race. I have been a Yankees fan for almost 10 years now during the legacy years of Joe Torre who won four World Series title with the Yankees. I have witness a lot of ups and downs during the ten years watching the Yankees, such as the Subway Series against the New York Mets in 2000 and also the devastating 0-3 from behind win by our bitter rivals the Red Sox that virtually ended the Curse of the Bambino (*see below for did you know? ;) in 2004.

I have not visited the Yankees Stadium (which i still regret to this very day), but i am looking forward to grace the new Yankees Stadium hopefully by next year *fingers crossed* And what a way for the often quiet Yankees captain Derek Jeter to thank the fans for their unrivalled support throughout the team's tenure at the stadium at the end of the game, that was class by him. As they say, out with the old, in with the new.

Did you know? The Curse of the Bambino was a superstition which began when Babe Ruth (who was called the Bambino) was sold from the Red Sox to the Yankees in 1919/1920 and the Red Sox has not won a World Series title ever since while the Yankees won 26 =) However, the curse was broken in 2004 after the Red Sox won it beating the Yankees 4-3 after 7 games.

Movie Reviews

So I was watching this movie the other night and it came as a surprise that it actually is a hilarious romantic comedy. The last movie that I last watched Ashton featured in was Guess Who and A Lot Like Love which I failed to nominate it as successful nor enjoyable in my rating list. I don't find it as hilarious as this flick where I started off wif some crazy chuckles and proceeded to dumpsites of laughters. Movie is just about some drunken people spending their drunkest night out and alive. Not the unforgetable scenes but I think it's this kinda movie that I find Ashton's name synonymed to, than his fame. Reminded me of 'Just Friends' which I tend to love watching fer the 13th times. Like many Vegas weddings, this mean-spirited "romantic comedy" only makes sense if you're drunk *haha*

It is a must-watch movie 2008. Score - a happening 8.5.

'Pupus'

Ok, so I had some issues the other day wif someone at work about animal extinction. Clearly some may have witnessed my discomfort over the issue that started off as brain teaser (are you f*ckin kidding me). Animal kill and eat each other, so why should it be wrong for humans?

I don't like animals. And I don't enjoy having pets. Except for the fact that we once have a whole lot of hamsters..and a bunny, and aquatic animals, and a turtle, and a scorpion, etc. But then again I hate rats, or any other form of furry creatures so how can I ever live under the same roof wif one?

I think one cannot and can never kill animals for the sake of personal (mis)conceptions. Just cause you don't like sumthin doesn't give you the right to wipe their population off. It's not only inhuman, it's brutal, especially when ur talking about mass killing. Likewise, just because you truly like sumthin won't give u the pleasure to wipe them off completely and labelled them as commercial value often for our personal collection either.

Aahhh~ bringing back to the 'brilliant' and popular example, wild animals! Crocodiles kill. They're symbol of man-eating carnivorous and vely vely dangerous! I agree completely especially on the latter about the predator. This, though, is not a reason to kill animals who are carnivorous. The relevant question for humanity is whether we ourselves can envision alternatives to killing animals of any age. So can we? And this eventually will point me to another improtant direction - food chain.

I know you may think it wont concern us human, but it does. You take off one animal, food chain will be completely altered.

It's a controversial issue to bring or even use that word to uphold your weak argument. Guess you just pinpoint a wrong thing to the wrong person for a whole bunch of wrong reasons that I consequently cannot give you my full agreement nor support. No Sir I can't even fake it. Guess just proves some human beings are inconsiderate and enjoy humiliating others for the sake of winning. You may not like em but they sure don't deserve to be parished.

To me human are the greatest threats, and we always will be from time immemorial. We probably will make ourselves extinct before we could kill off the animals >=) Still can't see my point? Won't take a genius to figure it out. I'd love to hear what ya'll gona say to young generations or even yer own children bout that. Don't say I've never warned you.

I just want to thank China for hosting the Beijing Olympic 2008, it has been a wonderful 2+ weeks of non-stop sports. You have shown that you can definitely mix sports with politics hehe As Fallout Boys would say,"Thanks for the memories". I went to Jati yesterday to pick up Shenaniganz' organiser gift. Instead of just dropping by, i was treated with some food! Coincidentally, it was the unveiling of the E-class Masterpiece edition by Jati. Masterpiece is an E-class limited edition, only available to customers in Asia, so basically you won't see these things in Germany. Also apparently, they're rolling out this Masterpiece edition because there's a new E-class coming out next year. So i'm not sure why anyone would wanna buy this Masterpiece edition?

If you buy one (which costs about $80k+), you'll get this 'MasterPiece' logo at the back of your car

G'day Mate!

I went to Perth with my boss and a colleague for a business trip about a week or so ago, so i thought i'd posted some pictures from there. Overall it was a great trip even though i didn't spend much time wandering the city. Mind you, i caught a 3am flight from Brunei to Perth and arrived at my hotel at 9.30am, took a shower, went shopping until 12pm then i got back to the Hotel and got changed for a 1pm meeting later that afternoon hehe Life of professional i tell you! And it was winter time there! Thank god for business suits! hehe

I would recommend Perth to those who wants to have a different kind of holiday as you could do a lil bit of shopping but at the same time enjoy the serenic view by cycling around the city, parasailing near the beaches or have dinner at an old brewery placed on the edges of Swan river (our dinner cost AUD700 *ouch*) Worth the trip though and will definitely bring the missus for a holiday there... if she doesn't mind cycling around the city that is hehehe

Btw word of advice to those travelling to Australia - 1) don't bring food inside your bags as those items need to be declared at the airport (very tedious process) and 2) try not to bring any hand carry luggages as they have sniffer dogs at the airport, good thing they didn't touch mine *phew* Enjoy the pictures!

Thunder Bolt breaks 9.69 seconds!

I came home Saturday night after a 'Nisfu Syaaban' function at Shenangianz' granny and got in time to watch the Mens' Olympic 100m final. And my jaw virtually dropped after watching it; not because Usain "Thunder" Bolt broke the world record thus winning the Gold medal, but he actually took the piss by jogging the last 15 metres! Are you f*cking kidding me? He actually jogged the last 15m and broke the world record, he is one insane mofo.

Ohh, during my trip, it's a lil disturbing to know that food prices has really gone up. Not that I really care or mind paying extra, it's just that am wondering if it's a recent situation. I know it's affecting the world globally wif increase of oil and fuels which consequently increase the food industry, (and I went there twice during their economic downturn) but KL is no stranger to me when it comes to food.

Few places along bukit bintang have trmendously increased their food prices. Consider this, 5 piece of chicken Satey (wif no cucumber or onions or even ketupat) cost RM8, and since it comes in a meal set, u cannnot ask fer another gravy and that don't come wif rice yet. Whether you'll convert it to our currency or not it still wud spelt rediculous. And mind you, we were only eating out at the local malay restaurant.Whereas I can get 2 sets of Chicken Rice at Lot 10 food court fer the same amount of price! But my question is, why in other parts of the CBD, along the same street, from Sogo to Midvalley to KLCC to Sg Wang we can get cheap funny prices fer the same order and amout of money. Like a steak wud cost just RM10-RM20 tops. Am a slave for food, and I don't really mind being cheated at when it comes to paying extra just to get my tummy going. Guess only Sam knows exactly what am talking about.

So I just wana share this wif ya'll. And you don't wana let me start wif the taxi drivers and rates imposed *haha* But it's not as if it's my 1st time there, therefore, it won't be my last..will head there this December,

again! *hah*

Take a bow

I haven't been a very good blogger lately. I apologise. I got back from KL last Friday, just to make things clear (esp on the unreplied mails n tags). Such an overdue post so I decided to stretch it juuuuust a lil bit tonight.

My 5-day KL visit was phenomenal! As mentioned before, it's been a year since my last break and it's been 2 years since I enjoyed a proper outing. Yes I cud've gone elsewhere but lemme tell ya'll sumthin bout why I love going to the peninsular so much (and a yearly trip to KL is a must!) - to top up my clothing lines! Yes, am there fer the sake of refilling my double closets and wardrobes, and stocking up my shoe racks of course, all in the name of refuelling my looks *tee hee* Sides, it's budgetwise! Though the initial plan was to head Bangkok, I noticed I could as well be broke and get the same amount of tan as I am in KL..so why pay extra..right?
....
So I stayed at The Concorde Hotel on Day 1. Met Aza a.k.a Bos Kecik there too! Even hung out in her room considering we might not bump into one another again after that day..and we didn't! hehe Fer the rest of the nights, I stayed at Radius Intenational. And I was more as a tour guide to Sam too. It was his first time there (to think of all the money he spent in europe and singapore due to multiple visits, one would begin to wonder what the heck is wrong wif him) *hehe* But I have to splurge Sam wif credits, esp on carrying my mini shopping cart / stroller all over the city *thanx Sam*
...
Hmm..Pavilion! Ohh a must go..I almost ran outta money during my 1st visit! It's huuuugeee so there's no way I could list ya'll what I got fer myself from the nu haven! But a lil boast would do: to sum up my expenditure, I went home wif 11 shoes, 3 bags, 24 tops, 2 pants, 6 tie racks, 6 household items, 14 chocolates (it's Reese's), a pair of pretty feet (after an extensive thai foot massage) and tonnes of unecessary items that I just deliberately bought without thinking. And to top all, a fashionable excess of 8kg when arrived at the KLIA ticket counter ;) Yet I still don't think am an addictive shopaholic, just an advocate shopper *in denial*. Mayyybe I just haf the tendancy fer the cash-and-carry system. Am a pro buyer (often wif an idle mind). I don't have the time to do the usual stop-and-stare, it's a game of grab-and-buy to me. You drool long enuff u might end up wif eye blisters! And somewhere down the line, I felt that I've pulled a 'freak show' fer Sam *LOL*

If ya'll wondering where my aunt fit into all these, she doesn't. Thats cuz like Aza, she's busy wif her course. I did the shopping fer her indeed =)

And now, back to the basics. Am in my room, bored. Ten's away fer a 4-day meeting. He's in Perth now and would be back by tomorrow afternoon. Ohh am using his vroom vroom fer the time being >=)

Inventor unveils commuter jet pack

A jet pack which could allows commuters to fly to work has been unveiled by an inventor.

Glenn Martin, from New Zealand, described his craft as "the world's first practical jet pack" while unveiling it in front of a crowd of thousands at a Wisconsin air show.

The Daily Telegraph reports how Martin's 16-year-old son, Harrison (pictured) donned a helmet and eased into the contraption - with the help of two people to stop him toppling over.

Revving its engine, Harrison slowly climbed to about three feet off the ground and hovered for 45 seconds before touching back down to Earth.

The crowd at the AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 show cheered.

"Wow, that went better than expected," dad Glenn said afterwards. "People will look back on this as a moment in history."

The Martin Jet Pack is theoretically capable of flying an average-sized pilot 30 miles in 30 minutes on a full tank of fuel - it carries five gallons.

The inventor, 48, who has been working on the pack for almost three decades, plans to start selling them next year for around £50,000.

The device is designed to conform to the Federal Aviation Administration's definition of an ultra light vehicle - one weighing less than 115 kilograms and capable of carrying only one passenger - so it won't require a pilot's licence.

Most previous jet packs have lasted only a few minutes before running out of fuel. But Mr Martin, who gave up his job to concentrate on his design, hopes its superior performance will win over sceptics.

Thursday was my last day of work. I've arranged a trip for holiday to KL wif Boosoo n Sam. Initially, I plan to go wif Yaty but she'll only arrive in Brunei early Aug so off wif plan B. It's been a while since I make any leave. My last holiday was in March 2007. So u can imagine the stress level that I have to put up wif yeah.

So how did I spent my days of rest so far..PUZZLES! Yeah, I turned to the crosswords n sudoku fer a piece of leisure and entertainment. Then watch DVDs and watched Monk fer the rest of the night til dawn before I get some decent sleep. Im offically insomniac folks! And this is just from Thurs to Friday. My eyebags wud be on same level as my lips am afraid if I don't change this ugly habit. Hafnt spent time wif my baby nephew Ryan either cuz he's sick wif part of the breathing tube is blocked that he's breathing quite heavily these days *sigh*

Ohh before I forget, I wana thank Syuk fer 3 things this month.

Zimbabwe to introduce Z$100bn note!

* In January, Zimbabwe issued Z$10M notes*

Zimbabwe is to introduce a bank-note worth Z$100bn in response to rampant inflation - but the note will barely cover the cost of a loaf of bread.

Some Zimbabweans are already calling for higher denominations in a country where the official annual inflation rate has exceeded 2,200,000%. Independent economists believe the real rate is many times higher.

Zimbabwe's meltdown has left at least 80% of the population in poverty, facing mass shortages of basic goods. The country's central bank has introduced several new notes already this year in response to the hyperinflation.

In January, a Z$10 million note was issued, followed by a Z$50 million. By June the denominations had reached tens of billions.

In a notice in the state-controlled Herald newspaper, central bank governor Gideon Gono said the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe would introduce the new notes - known as special agro-cheques - to help consumers.

"This new $100 billion special agro-cheque will go into circulation on Monday," the notice said.
But Zimbabwe residents say the latest note is already worthless, and does not even cover their daily lunch.

"Nowadays, for my expenses a day, I need about Z$500 billion," one resident said. "So Z$100 billion can't do anything because for me to go home I need Z$250 billion, so this [note] is worthless."

Zimbabwe was once one of the richest countries in Africa. But it has descended into economic chaos in recent years, with many international observers blaming the policies of President Robert Mugabe.

Ten says: I tell you Mugabe is f*cking crazy, inflation so high and his country is in shambles. To get through their daily lives, Zimbabweans need Z$250-500 billion daily. Ouch!

A big congratulations to a very close friend Yaty on getting her 1st class degree (is that honors Yat?) on network engineering *claps* For all the tears cried, all pain endured come to peace all at once now that you've proved that the mind over matters theory does work. Just a week ago I had a voice chat wif her and she told me abt Leha's result! And just about a month ago she's going through a very very hard time and I bet the difficulties had made her somewhat stronger, deep down inside. I mean, I honestly wouldn't know what to do if I were her, ya know..going through that phase where logic has been torn apart. I'd prolly quit school, wasting time in a club and get to know that yellow-teethed bloke all over again *lol* But today, I mean TODAY, the case is rather different and because of that miracle, I've promised Yaty that I'll post somethin great regarding her result over this blog so here you go babe :)

Never laugh at a China-Man

A Chinese man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to China on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan, so the Chinese man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on the street in front of the bank. He produces the title and everything checks out.

The Loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoyed a good laugh at the Chinese for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan.

The loan officer says, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow $5, 000.

Here's sumthin i find hilarious. Syuk and I went to the Qlap cinema during the noon to book sum tixx fer The Dark Knight movie that we planned to watch on tomorrow night (thursday). Kiulap tend to be my fav movie spot after Empire simply cuz of the comfy n adjustable seats and the heavily buttered popcorn! Well, moving on..yeah, we were planning to book some tixx u see and this guy then entertained us immediately and so the dialogue begins..

Heath Ledger will finally have his "final laugh" he rightly deserves

To coincide with the theatrical release of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight". Thought i'd put in a little 'did you know?'.

The Oscars may be what, 10 month from now? But there's alot of buzz in Hollywood right now that Heath Ledger is in the running to win an Oscar, a supporting actor accolade at the very least, if not a nomination. Critics have described his performance as 'spellbinding' and say it is his best ever. The Dark Knight received the rave reviews after critics were shown a preview of the new blockbuster at the weekend. The Australian actor died of an overdose in his New York apartment soon after shooting the film, in January this year.

After watching the preview/trailer for "The Dark Knight", it's safe to say that his potrayal as the sadistic Joker is one of the best, if not the best ever. Heath Ledger actually spent a whole month locked up in a hotel room all by himself just to get the crazy, sociopath, cold-blooded and mass-murdering clown attitude that the Joker is.

On how Heath prepared the Joker’s sinister voice and laugh: “I sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices — it was important to try to find a somewhat iconic voice and laugh. I ended up landing more in the realm of a psychopath — someone with very little to no conscience towards his acts."

I, just like everyone, will be flocking the cinema this weekend, to finally see Heath Ledger's final swansong in "The Dark Knight". I hope he wins an Oscar, so that he can finally have his "final laugh". RIP Heath Ledger

Little India

One day, SM Goh Chok Tong visited India to meet their PM to negotiate trade terms. During the lunch break the Prime Minister of India suggested taking SM Goh for a spin in his helicopter and view India's city lifestyle.

As SM Goh was enjoying the view from above, he noticed an over populated village with unhygienic living conditions. A man was even shitting in his backyard. SM Goh was fast to comment how unsightly it is and that India's people are so uncivilised.
India's PM was so humiliated and vowed to himself that he'll humiliate SM Goh when he gets to visit Singapore.

When he finally did visit Singapore the following month, SM Goh too offered him a ride in his helicopter to see the Singaporean lifestyle.For a whole hour, India's PM was trying to spot a fault. Finally he saw a place where people literally littered the streets and as he had a closer look, he even noticed a man shitting on the grass verge. He quickly pointed out to SM Goh about it and said, 'You said Singapore was nothing like India. How do you account for this?'

SM Goh looked closer, smiled and replied 'Aaahhh..we called that place Little India'.

He loves me, he loves me not

Warning - no traspassing!

I was talking to Yaty the other night about beautiful men these days. I don't usually love to label anyone based entirely on their physique but I take personality and good sense of humor into account. But nonetheless some just caught my attention. I love pretty things. I mean, c'mmon, isn't it human nature to usually pay a lil extra stare and notifications to lil things that we find beauty in? I do know some people stare fer a non similar reason ..hmm but that would be a different case *hehe* Now mind you, it's a very subjective issue to nominate individuals as good-looking, delicious or perfect so am not judging yeah. Here are the boys that got into my A-list. They're all tv personalities and one football hearthrobe. I couldn't find any similarities in them really. The list were much very different 5 years ago. Before, the nominees were Dave Silveria, Kevin Spacey, Benecio Del Toro and Adrian Brody. They're slightly mature boys and I was intrigue to say the least. But the new list is my bona-fide confession of how my life has metaphored ;)

Have you seen the Made-in-Malaysia car 'Kancil'? You know that very little 600 cc car?Well, Dr M wanted to sell it to the US very badly, so when Dr M paid a visit to the White House after finishing formal discussions with George Bush, Dr M checks with Bush to find out if there is a way to sell the Kancil in the USA.

After having looked at the brochure, Bush said, You know, I think this 'Kernchill' is too small for us Americans.

Not one who gives up easily, Dr M persisted and finally Bush offered, 'Ok, take this number down. This guy is my good buddy and he's also the CEO of the biggest compact car distributor in North America'.

Dr M was satisfied with the meeting and returns to Malaysia.The next day he called the number and a lady answered, 'TOYS R US, Can I help you?'

Abu Dhabi buys into NY landmark

Just been confirmed in the news:

The controlling stake in one of New York's most famous landmarks, the Chrysler Building, has been sold to the Abu Dhabi government's commercial arm. Prudential Financial confirmed it had sold its 75% stake in the Manhattan Art Deco skyscraper to the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC).

The council, which has not commented on the deal, was reported to have paid about $800m (£400m) for the stake. The remaining 25% of the building is owned by property firm Tishman Speyer.

The Arabs are getting aggresively crazy i tell you! Next thing you know, they'll buy "The Mall" from us hahaha

Ten's baby just arrived. The ride arrived earlier than expected so due to that, multiple paperworks from the banks and agents hasn't been entirely done, yet. I purposely put jigsaws to let ya'll guess what the vehicle is. I'll reveal part of the jigsaw every non consecutive days, or whenever I feel like *hehe* Two more weeks into the ride and I can't hardly wait! After Spain's victory, this is probably the sweetest reward of all!

Happy birthday to my small sis Baby and Sabrina today, 1st July! Baby will be celebrating it big wif a bbq soon after my dad's done wif his exhibition. It's gonna be one hectic yet insatiable week wif the new baby, dad's expo and Baby's coming bbq. Her gift would then remained a surpirse *hehe*

Spain are crowned European Champions!

Congraluations to Spain on winning their second European Championship. After 44 years of suffering, they finally won another major trophy. Kudos to the Spanish players, coaching staff and also their coach, Luis Aragones. He may be a racist prick, but he certainly doesn't give a shit to the egos in the team. He has substituted the likes Torres, Iniesta and Xavi during the tournament, can you imagine doing that to an England team? Substituting the likes of Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney would've been unthinkable.

Fernando Torres scored the winning goal in the 33rd minute and Germany didn't look like they were mounting a comeback, they were just awful. The only performer in the team was their keeper, Jens Lehmann and to think he had a shocker of a game, just shows how bad were the Germans last night.

Anyways congrats to the Liverpool-Spanish quartet of Torres, Reina, Alonso and Arbeloa. Hope you guys can keep the winning mentality to Liverpool and also continue winning major trophies with Liverpool!

Bring on the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and also the 2008/2009 Premier League season which kicks off in about one and a half month time. Simply Awesome. Viva Espana!

June 27, 2008: It's a boy =)

It's 2am and I just got back from the hospital approx an hour ago to accompany my father and to join the rest of my family at the labour room. Am exhausted to my knees I don't even know that waiting can be that nerve wrecking, and anticipating all in one. Deep inside am very very grateful my sis is safe and the baby's an angel! No name circulating the table yet. Full updates will be published together with the pictures tomorrow so stay tune folks.
It's safe to say that I'm officially an aunt ;)

Germany vs Spain: Who will win it all?

Well here it is, after almost a month of total football, we have finally reached the pinnacle of it all. This sunday pits two European heavyweights, Germany and Spain, for the right to be crowned Champions of Europe!

My unequivocal support for Spain has been known and i am ecstastic for them to be in the final. The second half against Russia, was simply beautiful to watch (though Torres had a shocker of a game). Now, for my unbiased preview on who will win it all!

Germany: Almost seem to have the knack of going through in knockout competitions, they look stronger game by game. However, they almost lost the semi-final against Turkey. After changing the formation after the 2nd game, they look more dangerous going forward as Podolski and Klose are paired upfront while Bastian Schweinsteiger played on the left and just couldn't stop scoring.

The only weakness i see from them is from their goalkeeper, the ever eccentric Jens Lehmann and also their slow moving centreback pairing of Metersacker and Metzelder.

Man-to-watch: Bastian Schweinsteiger

Spain: They play fluid, counter-attacking football.... which is a joy to watch! With Senna doing all the donkey work in midfield, the likes of Iniesta, Xavi, Silva,Fabregas and Torres are able to interchange positions and play an almost free-role in attack. It's such a shame that David Villa is ruled out of the final because of a muscle injury. However, it could be a blessing in disguise as Fabregas (who took his place in the semi) was simple running the show for Spain.

The weakness i see from this team are their fullbacks; Sergio Ramos is awesome going forward but his defending is suspect at times (he was torn to shreds by a mediocre Swedish team!) and Capdevila is well, he's Capdevila! You don't know what to expect from him (more of a midfielder than a fullback to tell you the truth)

Man-to-watch: Cesc Fabregas
